Hoyos & Pinto Dentistry is a comprehensive dental practice serving patients of all ages. Depending on the type of treatment you are receiving, you will initially meet either Dr. Dan Pinto or Dr. Stephanie Hoyos.
We know that most patients – regardless of whether they have a dental phobia – are not always enthusiastic about visiting the dentist. Our team makes every effort to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. During your appointment, you can request to watch TV, listen to music, or relax with a blanket. For your convenience, we also offer coffee and water in the waiting area.

Dr. Stephanie Hoyos is a general dentist practicing in the areas of pediatrics, family dentistry, and emergency dentistry. Dr. Hoyos says that having the opportunity to be a practicing dental hygienist for several years prior to dental school gave her unique insights into treating patients.
Born in Queens, New York, Dr. Stephanie Hoyos spent the majority of her childhood in the Andes of Colombia, in South America. Dr. Hoyos earned certification as a registered dental hygienist from the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, New York. She would later go on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude.
Dr. Hoyos says she chose general dentistry as the field allows her to take on some of the more complex, involved cases, which allows her to perfect her problem-solving skills.
Dr. Dan Pinto received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2016 from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he also completed his residency in prosthodontics in 2019. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Pinto is trained to treat conditions of the mouth, jaw, and maxillofacial region. Prosthodontists are trained in providing advanced dental procedures such as dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, dental crowns, and bridges. They also specialize in treatments for temporomandibular joint disorders, more commonly referred to as TMD.
In his free time, Dr. Pinto enjoys traveling, art, and learning about the latest computer tech. Dr. Pinto is fluent in English and Spanish.
